The 'everyday' can seem far removed from the dramatic and romantic worlds created in theatrical contexts. I am fascinated by moments when the fiction of these worlds meets with reality. I am inspired by the commitment of spectators to accept, and invest in, fiction. In my practice I aim to allude to these instances, whilst consideration of my viewer is a priority. I wish to evoke a heightened sense of presence between the viewer and the space.
