My practice is informed by intuitive explorations of materials and found objects. I am especially attracted to materials and objects if they have a past history or function. I seek to subvert their original function or history, to create new whimsical and absurd narratives. Animating the objects, through the use of motors enters them into a state of flux. This allows the objects to enter an ever-changing dialogue with each other.
